Life Scientific (Pvt) Ltd established itself for more than one decade is a leading distribution company for healthcare products. The company has grown rapidly in the past for more than a decade.

This growth is reflected by what is developing internationally, with a number of mergers and acquisitions. This has resulted in a number of new distribution agreements with Life Scientific Ltd. as the preferred partner by world renowned manufacturers in the field of healthcare. The company comprises of 3 business units:

The Surgical Consumables Division

The Company represents a number of global companies including: Cook Medical Inc. USA, Ranfac Corp, of USA, Aln Implants of France, Tokai Medical of Japan among others.

The Medical Equipment Division

The Company representing leading Medical Equipment Suppliers for Surgical Devices from Fiegert-Endotech Germany, Provix Korea and Shangxian Minimal Invasive Inc., China.

International Export Distribution Division

Life Scientific is legally appointed as a Distributing Agent in South East Asia for exporting Bone Marrow Biopsy Needles from the Manufacturer Ranfac Corporation United States for the following countries.

IMPORT & DISTRIBUTION

We provide innovative Medical and Surgical Devices to the Healthcare Professionals in the territory of Sri Lanka and our products are spread into different segments of Healthcare such as Surgical & Medical Equipment, Surgical Consumables and Diagnostic Instruments.We hold exclusive distributors for world renowned brands in the field of Healthcare.

SALES & MARKETING

The sales force is the heart of the company! They are what makes the company beat and grow. Staff development is given utmost importance which in turn keeps motivation high, bringing in higher sales and continued growth. The company has its team of Biomedical Engineers and Product Specialists as medical representatives calling on all doctors on a daily basis. We pride ourselves in empowering every person at all levels within our organization and to effectively perform as a team and fully trained by our manufacturers whom we represent.

AFTER SALES SERVICE

The Service Department is dedicated to maintain the smooth running of installed equipment. Our Customer Service Engineers are trained overseas, and keep abreast with the latest technological advances. We have successfully completed turnkey projects including the installation of four (04) Rhapsody H-30 Holmium Kidney Stone Laser Machines manufactured by Cook Medical Inc., USA at the Colombo South Teaching Hospital Kalubowila, Colombo North Teaching Hospital Ragama, Teaching Hospital Anuradhapura, Teaching Hospital Batticaloa and many more Surgical Equipment in the territory of Sri Lanka.

REGULATORY AFFAIRS UNIT

The company also has a dedicated Regulatory Department. This unit is responsible for Good Distribution Practice (GDP) according to Sri Lanka National Medicines Regulatory Authority and US FDA & CE standards. It also oversees all regulatory affairs for products handled by the company.

HUMAN RESOURCES

The Human Resources Department is responsible for the recruitment of staff with a passion to perform to keep up with the high standard set by the Company. Another key function they perform is Human Resource Development by arranging training sessions on a continuous basis both local and overseas. Organizing many events both indoor and outdoor, keeping the staff motivated, contended and satisfied.
